It has been a little over a year since the Library’s Digital and Pictorial Collections merged to form the new Audiovisual Collections and Digital Initiatives Department.

In 1989, Hagley received a large collection from the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society (PSFS) bank in Philadelphia.

Lately we have been working with the magic of chemistry to bring back the luster of some archival materials. The specific “trick” is reverting blackened lead white pigment back into its intended colorless form.
